The 2024 NSF-STC Directors meeting on “Science and Technology for Everyone: Engaging MSIs, Community Partners, and the General Public” was at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, PA and virtually on August 12-13, 2024. In-person attendance was highly encouraged.
The meeting convened on the University of Pennsylvania School of Engineering and Applied Science (SEAS) campus, in both Levine Hall (3330 Walnut St, Philadelphia, PA 19104) and Krishna P. Singh Center for Nanotechnology (3205 Walnut St, Philadelphia, PA 19104).

Registration: We are happy to offer both in-person and virtual registration options for this meeting. Please note that while we will make every effort to make as much of the meeting available virtually, some portions may not be available. In-person attendance is highly encouraged.

Lodging: The Sheraton Philadelphia University City Hotel (3549 Chestnut St, Philadelphia, PA 19104) is located approximately three blocks from the meeting venue. We have booked a block of rooms for August 11-13, and a limited number of additional rooms for checkout on August 14. The room rate is $149.00+tax/night. Deadline to reserve a room in our block: July 18, 2024.

Transportation: The Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) is the closest airport to University of Pennsylvania (~9 miles). Taxi/rideshares are easily accessible at the airport, as is SEPTA public transportation. At the airport, you may take the Airport Line train for $6.75 toward Center City Philadelphia. The closest stop to the Sheraton is Penn Medicine Station (0.7 miles from hotel).
