Penn Engineering Faculty Member Jeffrey Babin (Associate Professor of Practice, MEAM, and Associate Director of the Engineering Entrepreneurship Program) will lead a workshop to help you investigate and pursue a broader scope of professional opportunities.
Industry may provide an important career alternative to traditional academic faculty positions for PhD and post-doctoral students. This workshop is designed for post-docs to learn about key elements of technology commercialization and the skills and capabilities required to succeed in industry. Graduate students will learn how to apply their academic accomplishments and skills in a commercial context. We will discuss how to best position oneself to investigate, pursue and capitalize on opportunities in industry.
